Job summary

TEEMA Group seeks an experienced Instructor – Electrical Training to deliver high-quality electrical training in classroom and hands-on lab settings. You will prepare and deliver training programs, engage adult learners, and help develop courses aligned with industry standards.

In this remote role, you will travel to client sites as needed, administer examinations, grade results, and ensure safety and accuracy in all training activities.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience teaching, instructing, public speaking, or delivering formal training in an adult education environment.
• 7–15 years of low-voltage industrial installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical industry experience with a strong understanding of electrical and electronic theory.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience with low-voltage residential and/or electronics installation and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver custom and standard electrical training in classroom and laboratory environments.
• Prepare and present lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises.
• Lead classroom discussions and create an engaging, professional learning environment.
• Administer and grade examinations and provide feedback to students.
• Apply industry standards and safe work practices to training content and laboratory activities.
• Develop new training programs and improve existing courses to meet customer needs.
• Use applicable NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, and OSHA standards when developing and delivering training.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to provide training.
