Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Instructor to deliver technical and professional training across the organization in Kentucky. You will lead classroom and field-based sessions, mentor apprentices, and help shape curriculum to meet project needs and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electrical construction, strong NEC knowledge, and proven training or mentoring experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and travel to sites and offices is required to support workforce

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience delivering training, mentoring, or instructional content preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and field-based training.
• Teach NEC, electrical theory, and hands-on labs.
• Mentor apprentices with feedback and performance documentation.
• Facilitate study groups, review sessions, and test prep workshops.
• Develop and improve training materials and curriculum.
• Travel to project sites and regional offices to provide training.
