Job summary

TEEMA Group seeks an experienced Instructor – Electrical Training to deliver high-quality electrical training in classroom and laboratory settings. You will prepare and deliver programs, engage adult learners, and help develop courses based on industry standards and customer needs.

Ideal candidates combine strong electrical industry experience with excellent communication and teaching skills and enjoy helping others build technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience teaching or delivering formal training to adults.
• 7–15 years of low-voltage industrial installation and troubleshooting.
• Electrical industry experience with strong electrical/electronic theory.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience with low-voltage residential and/or electronics installation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, grounding, ampacity and related calculations.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, motor drives, LV/MV motors, relays, field devices.
• Ability to read electrical prints, one-line diagrams, and technical docs.
• Knowledge of PPE, safety regulations, and hazard awareness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe apps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver custom and standard electrical training in classroom and lab.
• Prepare and present lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.
• Lead discussions and create an engaging learning environment.
• Administer and grade examinations and provide feedback.
• Apply industry standards and safe work practices to training content.
• Develop and improve training programs to meet customer needs.
• Use NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, and OSHA standards in training.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to provide training.
