Job summary

Modular Mission Critical (M.C. Dean) seeks technicians and engineers to install, program, test, and maintain protective relays and metering for transmission and distribution systems. Role involves interpreting schematics, following NETA/NFPA/OSHA standards, and collaborating with engineers for system commissioning.

Travel to industrial sites, data centers, and substations is required. Candidates should have a background in electrical testing and safety procedures with certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Certification in NETA/NICET preferred or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Proficient with protective relays, metering, schematics, and electrical safety standards (ANSI/IEEE/NETA/NFPA/NEC/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Program, install, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate relays, breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing to ensure compliance with NETA standards.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with other departments and clients.
• Maintain detailed test reports and documentation for compliance.
