Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to lead inspection, testing, maintenance, and startup of LV/MV equipment in field and shop environments. Travel locally, regionally, nationally; international travel preferred for select projects.

You will work with protective relays, breakers, switchgear, transformers and related test equipment, ensuring compliance with NETA standards and safety procedures. Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience with a HS diploma or GED.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC and OSHA electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead project testing onsite and in-house, maintain job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Test low/medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays and related equipment.
• Contain material costs by reducing waste and implementing effective controls.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
