Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking a skilled field technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment at customer sites and in shop environments.

Role requires travel (local, regional, national; international preferred) and the ability to read schematics, interpret technical manuals, and use:test equipment such as Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard and Fluke meters while adhering to

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• NETA certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, maintaining job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and related electrical equipment.
• Contain material costs by eliminating waste and implementing control measures.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
