Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of low and medium voltage equipment in field and shop settings.

Travel locally, regionally, and nationally is required, with international travel preferred. The role requires 2+ years of electrical experience, familiarity with test equipment (Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, Fluke), and a strong commitment to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• NETA/NICET certification (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, maintaining job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and other electrical apparatus.
• Contain material costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing control measures.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
