Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking an experienced electrical tester to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of LV/MV equipment in field and shop environments.

You will work with breakers, transformers, switchgear, relays, and motor control centers, using advanced test gear such as Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, and Fluke meters. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally is required, with international travel preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead projects onsite and in-house, ensuring complete documentation from receipt to invoicing
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage equipment including cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and protective devices
• Contain material costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing controls
• Travel as needed for field work and assist in project startups and commissioning
