Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a project supervisor to lead a team of craft professionals on LNG and related energy projects in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes scheduling, safety, and ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.

You will coordinate craft activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure access to essential tools and design documents. Mobility across global units may be required as the project portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written; computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
• Ability to develop 3-week look ahead schedule in regard to work operations
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams

Responsibilities

• Leadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision up to 50 craft)
• Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
• Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
• Determines workforce requirements.
• Coordinates established area operational plans.
• Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
• Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
• Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
• Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
• Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
• Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
