Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is leading the Port Arthur LNG project in Texas and is seeking a senior supervisor to lead a team of craft professionals across field operations. You will direct activities, manage schedules, and coordinate subcontracted work to ensure adherence to specifications, budgets, and timelines.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and the use of current design documents, with strong collaboration across field engineers and craft supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in LNG, oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction along the U.S Gulf Coast preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
Ability to develop 3 week look ahead schedule in regards to work operations.

Responsibilities

Leadership / Supervision: Supervises and directs craft activities and schedules work.
Planning / Productivity: Determines workforce requirements and coordinates operational plans.
Tools, Materials & Equipment: Monitors tool and equipment usage on site.
Oversees Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures crafts have tools to maintain productivity.
Safety & Quality: Ensures design documents are current and changes are approved.
