Job summary

TIC, the Power division, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead multi-team electrical construction efforts across fossil fuel generation projects. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and cost management while ensuring compliance with NEC and IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience with at least 3 years in a superintendent/leadership role overseeing electrical installation projects in power/industrial environments.
• Proactive, self-motivated leader capable of managing complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Kiewit's policies, procedures and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and professional development for junior superintendents, foremen, and field engineers.
• Review labor rates to maintain budget integrity and fair compensation.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings to streamline communication and issues.
• Build and sustain positive client and onsite staff relationships for collaboration.
• Lead planning sessions and problem-solving meetings with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates for accurate finances.
• Assist in review and negotiation of change orders to manage scope and schedule.
• Drive project completion protocols and turnover processes for successful closeout.
