Quality Technology Services, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Development Project Manager – Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead technical guidance on data center electrical design and project execution. You will interface with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Vendors to ensure standards, codes, and performance criteria are met.

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years in design engineering or construction related to electrical power systems.
• 2+ years applying NEC and other electrical industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing packages for adherence to design standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams to evaluate designs.
• Define project scope requirements and communicate with the design team.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams.
• Review OFCI equipment submittals for compliance with standards.
• Support teams in resolving design issues during construction and commissioning.
• Work with procurement on equipment procurement.
• Develop and review SCCAF studies for adherence to standards.
• This position will require 25% travel.
