Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Development Project Manager – Electrical SME to provide technical leadership on electrical design and project execution for data center initiatives. The role interfaces with facilities, designers, contractors, vendors and operations to ensure on-time, to-spec delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of electrical design experience.
• 5+ years of experience in design engineering or construction, covering power systems design, redundancy, short circuit, coordination and arc flash analysis.
• 2+ years applying local codes, NEC requirements and other electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawing packages for adherence to design standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs meet standards and local code requirements.
• Define project scope requirements and communicate deviations to the design team.
• Support information requests and value engineering with construction, commissioning and risk teams.
• Review OFCI equipment submittals for compliance with design criteria.
• Assist project teams in resolving design issues during construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with strategic procurement on equipment procurement.
• Develop and review Short Circuit, Coordination and Arc Flash studies for design adherence.
• Travel up to 25% for project needs.
