Job summary

StrongBuilt Plumbing & Air (NM) in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Service Manager - HVAC to lead our electrical service team and drive performance, scheduling, and quality workmanship. The role offers growth into broader leadership while investing in long-term success.

Responsibilities include coaching technicians, managing field operations, and ensuring compliance with NEC/OSHA standards. Prior leadership in electrical service and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (may vary by state).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor electrical service technicians to achieve performance goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings, ride-alongs, and performance reviews.
• Oversee scheduling, routing, and daily assignments for technicians.
• Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to technicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local regulations.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professional, timely resolutions.
• Review estimates, invoices, and recommendations for accuracy and professionalism.
• Track key performance metrics, including revenue, average ticket, conversion rates, close rates, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor job costing, labor utilization, and department profitability.
• Manage inventory, tools, and equipment in ServiceTitan or company systems to minimize costs and ensure availability.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to build a strong service workforce.
