Graybar in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a sales leader to drive the Electrical market in the assigned territory. You will lead a team of sales reps and support staff, manage a multi-million-dollar budget, and develop business plans aligned with district market plans.

The role emphasizes building relationships with key customers and suppliers, recruiting and developing staff, and delivering high quality customer service. A strong track record in wholesale distribution and electrical markets is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in business or wholesale distribution.
• Preferred 11 years’ experience.
• Four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans that support the Electrical market within the territory.
• Implement the sales management process with plans, coaching debriefs, and post-call reviews.
• Develop annual territory plans with strategic suppliers identified by District Marketing.
• Recruit, staff, and develop employees; manage performance and succession in Electrical.
• Build relationships with key customers and suppliers to position the territory in the market.
• Provide guidance to retain profitable business and ensure high-quality customer service.
