Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a district sales leader to drive revenue and margin in the Industrial market. You will manage a team of sales reps and support staff, set annual targets, and implement district plans to achieve strategic objectives.

You will build relationships with customers and suppliers, supervise staffing, and deliver coaching, tools, and training to fuel growth while ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business or wholesale distribution.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four-year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry and market conditions.
• Strong leadership, analytical and planning abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to use standard office software.
• Negotiation and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans that support the Industrial market within the assigned territory.
• Work with sales personnel to implement district plans and strategic initiatives.
• Establish annual sales and gross margin targets for market-applied sales reps.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Lead recruiting, staffing, performance management, and succession planning.
• Provide tools and training to support Industrial business growth.
