Job summary

Graybar seeks a Branch Manager-Electrical to lead business plans, manage resources, and drive profitability in a dynamic market. You will design programs to maximize net profit, supervise a large team, and oversee a substantial branch budget to meet objectives.

You will develop strategic plans, monitor service levels, optimize inventory, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while ensuring compliance and pursuing market growth across the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in sales, operations, or finance
• 6+ years preferred
• 4 year degree in Business, Marketing, or related major preferred
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution and supply chain concepts

Responsibilities

• Design and implement programs to maximize net profit and return on sales
• Lead and supervise branch staff to meet objectives
• Monitor customer service levels and take corrective actions
• Oversee large branch budget and ensure targets are met
• Manage inventory levels and promote sale of obsolete/overstocked material
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Develop strategic plans for long-term market share and profitability growth
