Job summary

Graybar in Green Bay, WI seeks a District Sales Manager to lead the Electrical market sales team, drive revenue, and implement district plans. You will supervise sales reps and a support staff, and manage a $10M annual budget while aligning actions with strategic suppliers.

Qualifications

• Requires 9 years progressively responsible business or wholesale distribution experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed sales and gross margin rate budgets for the territory and implement district market plans.
• Typically manage a team of sales reps and a sales support team.
• Manage a minimum annual budget of $10M.
• Develop business plans that support the Electrical market within the assigned territory.
• Implement sales management processes using sales rep business plans and coaching debriefs.
• Evaluate industry trends and identify opportunities/threats in the territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Ensure recruiting, staffing, development, performance management, and succession planning across Electrical teams.
• Assist in tools and training programs to grow Electrical business.
