Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial E&I construction projects across North America.

You will drive planning, coordination, and execution from startup through commissioning and closeout, balancing safety, quality, and cost while coordinating with customers, engineers, and field teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years of PM experience, plus strong scheduling, procurement, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline with 5+ years of PM experience.
• Experience managing industrial electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cash-flow management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and support projects across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award to commissioning and closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, and financial performance.
• Develop strategies that optimize safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing representative throughout execution.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering, field operations, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop practical mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
