Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial E&I construction projects across North America.

You will oversee safety, budgets, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration while partnering with customers, field leadership, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing industrial electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Experience with compressor stations, pipeline facilities, Midstream infrastructure, or similar environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PM tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award through commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, procurement strategies, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering teams, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, productivity, resource utilization, procurement activities, and financial performance.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, safety, and schedule commitments.
• Support project commissioning, startup, owner training, turnover, and closeout activities.
