Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to support our Power Division.
You will design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including plant layout, selecting system hardware, optimizing performance, and determining interconnection requirements, while leading portions of electrical engineering on projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with project leads and senior engineers, supervising interns or junior staff, ensuring schedules and QC, and collaborating
Qualificações
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering program.
- Knowledge of NEC and NESC and ability to read construction drawings.
- 3–7 years of experience in electrical design for distribution/generation.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools and MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to lead teams.
Responsabilidades
- Lead electrical engineering portions of commercial and utility-scale solar projects.
- Create construction documents and perform electrical calculations and studies.
- Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams and with clients/utilities.
- Ensure project deliverables, schedules, and change orders are met.
- QA/QC of design work and mentor interns/grad engineers.
- Support project teams across offices as workload dictates.
