Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager - Electrical to bridge design and construction for major industrial and data center projects. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, review drawings, develop constructability plans, and coordinate bid packages for on-site execution while traveling up to 50% to support ongoing projects across the U.S.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in electrical engineering or 15+ years in industrial construction management, a Bachelor's degree, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent construction experience.
• Experience interpreting electrical design drawings for construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership resolving design and constructability concerns.
• Identify schedule and cost saving opportunities based on design and modularization.
• Engage trade partners early in design through contractor engagement.
• Coordinate cross-discipline evaluation of electrical scope for sequencing.
• Identify risks for long lead construction activities and align with schedules.
• Develop and review construction bid packages for contractor award.
• Coordinate stakeholders for full construction work breakdown structure.
• Review Vendor Data Requirement submittals for constructability impacts.
