Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial electrical construction projects across North America.

You will oversee planning, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and execution from startup to closeout, coordinating with customers, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors. The role emphasizes strong leadership, risk management, and customer relationship skills, with approximately 50% travel and a focus on delivering high-quality energy infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing industrial electrical, Midstream energy, power generation, or heavy industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award to closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, schedules, procurement activities, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate activities among customers, engineering teams, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support project planning, staffing strategies, procurement plans, execution plans, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the primary project contact throughout execution.
• Identify project risks, schedule impacts, constructability concerns, and operational challenges while implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project contracts, customer requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
