Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial electrical and instrumentation projects across North America. You will manage safety, financials, contracts, procurement, scheduling, and customer relations from startup to closeout.

The role requires 5+ years in PM, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of E&I systems, with typically 50% travel to project sites and client sites. Join a leader in energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial electrical/instrumentation environments.
• Experience managing industrial electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award through commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders, and financial performance.
• Develop execution strategies prioritizing safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Serve as primary customer-facing representative throughout project execution.
• Coordinate activities among customers, engineering, field operations, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Identify risks and issues and develop effective solutions.
