Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects from planning through completion and ensure client satisfaction with outstanding service. This mid-level role supports Senior PMs across several small to medium projects or one large initiative.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and has at least 3 years of experience in construction project management, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager/Division Manager
• Supervise project activities and assign tasks to Assistant Project Managers
• Provide PM expertise to assess scope, schedule, and resources
• Prepare a complete project estimate with plans, specs, and bid forms
• Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards
• Supervise preparation and negotiation of all change orders
• Monitor construction with Foreman and Area Superintendent to stay on schedule and budget
• Investigate situations and implement corrective measures
• Prepare and present change quotations to the client and negotiate outcomes
• Prepare monthly costing reports under supervision of Senior PM/Division Manager
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and maintain client relationships
• Review documents before submission
• Represent the company in project meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned
