Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in the United States, Virginia, Richmond area. You will lead a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach daily tasks, manage inventory and safety, and help with merchandising decisions.

The role requires strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration within a large retail store. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver customer-focused service.
• Manage daily tasks, department coverage, and performance.
• Handle customer-facing activities such as greeting, needs clarification, and solution identification.
• Oversee non-customer-facing tasks like down stocking, inventory, and area recovery.
• Ensure store safety, conduct safety walks, and report hazards.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive sales and service objectives.
