Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team delivering top-notch customer service in a fast-paced home improvement retail environment.

You will coach associates, manage daily tasks, and support merchandising decisions while ensuring safety and store readiness. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and a focus on delivering a best-in-class shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years retail experience OR 5 years in retail environment.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with/without direct report responsibility).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks and follow-up on daily tasks across customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities.
• Ensure department coverage, perform safety walks, report hazards, and follow lifting directions.
• Communicate best practices to inspire customer-focused behavior and achieve sales objectives.
• May occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty.
• Support other departments as needed to meet store demands.
