Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Assembler in Maryland. The role pays $22 per hour and offers a variable incentive program, with hours from 6:30AM to 3PM. Benefits include health, vacation, holidays, and paid parental leave.

Overtime opportunities and career progression are available to advance within the company. The Production Technician will assemble panelboards/switchboards, inspect products, perform wiring with tools, and adhere to Lean/5S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role using hand/power tools or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location; active-duty military exempt from area limitation.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B etc.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards per electrical drawings and work instructions with hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specifications.
• Wire panelboards/switchboards using wiring diagrams and power tools.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or problems in the area of assignment.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and receive/store materials.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and maintain 5S in the work area.
• Cross-train across functions as needed for business needs.
