Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Wiring Production Technician to assemble and wire panels and sub-assemblies for electrical control equipment. The role involves wiring, testing, and ensuring quality per drawings and specs, with a focus on safety and process improvement.

The position requires 1 year of wiring or Eaton wiring certification, and at least 1 year in an assembly role using hand and/or power tools, with a typical 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule and potential incentive program eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year wiring experience or completion of Eaton wiring certification.
• Minimum one year of assembly experience with hand/power tools or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
• No relocation; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location; immigration sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring panels and sub-assemblies per customer specs using hand/power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs and codes.
• Follow drawings and instructions to wire switchboards or panelboards.
• Identify process improvements and perform root cause analysis for quality issues.
• Maintain safety practices and participate in 5S activities.
