Job summary

The Production Technician at Eaton will work in the Panelboard/Switchboard Satellite Operation, performing assembly, wiring, testing, and inspection to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. You will assemble sub-assemblies and finished products, use power tools, and document results while following Lean and 5S practices.

Requires at least one year in an assembly environment, the ability to lift 35 lbs, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role with the use of hand and/or power tools.
• High school diploma or GED or Technical School diploma (1 year) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformity with drawings and specs.
• Perform Lean initiatives and maintain 5S guidelines in the work area.
