Volt is immediately hiring over 20 Electrical Mechanical Refurbishment Technicians in Mabank, TX. This is a full-time temp-to-hire role with a schedule of 1pm–9:45pm, Monday to Friday, and significant overtime including Saturdays.

The work spans mechanical wrenching for assembly/disassembly and electrical tasks on console assemblies with PLCs and power components. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of mechanical or electrical experience; safety, reliability, and good communication are valued.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent mechanical or electrical skills.
• Ideal experience on the mechanical side: diesel/auto aviation or similar wrench-turning roles.
• Ideal electrical background: electrician helper or electrical assembly with wiring/cabling.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Teardown and rebuilding of turbine engines.
• Mechanical: turning wrenches to assemble/disassemble equipment and install components.
• Electrical: cabling, wiring, testing, assembly and sub-assembly; build-up consoles with PLCs, I/O modules, power supplies and terminal strips.

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring over 20 Electrical Mechanical Refurbishment Technicians in Mabank, TX.

Electrical or Mechanical Refurbishment Technician Responsibilities

• Teardown and rebuilding of turbine engines
• Mechanical will entail turning wrenches to assemble and disassemble equipment and industrial equipment, installations of mechanical parts and components
• Electrical will assist with cabling, wiring, testing, assembly and sub-assembly; build up consoles which include PLC's, input/output modules, power supplies, terminal strips and other electrical devices

Job Details / Schedule

This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity. Schedule: Monday - Friday - 1pm - 9:45pm. We offer LOTS of overtime and Saturday work.

Ideal Candidate

• 1 - 2 years of recent mechanical or electrical skills
• Ideal experience for Mechanical side but not required: experience working as a diesel mechanical or auto mechanic, aviation mechanic or any type of mechanical or installer role where you had to turn wrenches all day.
• Ideal experience for Electrical side but not required: experience as an electrician helper, certificates in electrical or electrical assembly with wiring or cabling
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can-do attitude.
• Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen

Pay Rate*: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
