Job summary

Volt is hiring multiple 2nd shift Manufacturing Test Technicians in Mabank, Texas. You will perform routine quality testing of gas producers, turbines, and gearboxes and assist with installation and testing of gas turbines.

The role is full-time, temp-to-hire with a 1:00 PM–9:45 PM schedule, plus overtime and weekend work as needed. Ideal candidates have at least two years in manufacturing and can pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in manufacturing or shop environment.
• Knowledgeable in simple electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring multiple 2nd shift Manufacturing Test Technicians in Mabank, Texas.

As a Manufacturing Test Technician, you will:

• Perform routine Quality Testing of Gas Producers, Power Turbines, and Reduction Gearboxes to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
• Assist with the installation and removal of gas turbines and accessories.
• Assist with green run and final performance acceptance test of gas turbines.
• Observe, record, and review test data.

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 1pm - 9:45pm plus overtime and weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Knowledgeable in the use and application of simple electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 Per Hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
