Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, develop maintenance programs, and lead cost-optimization to maximize equipment availability and safety. Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair electrical control problems for manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment/parts.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Install or assist in installation of new equipment.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.
• Pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment.
• Develop maintenance programs to ensure reliability.
• Lead efforts to optimize maintenance costs and reduce downtime.
• Communicate repair steps and parts status to team.
• Support coating quality and paint line production; roll grinder duties.
