Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee emergency and preventive repairs on plant equipment. This role emphasizes strong electrical and mechanical expertise, safe work practices, and coordinating with production leads.

The ideal candidate will have PLC experience, the ability to diagnose complex issues, and communicate clearly with teams. The position supports a high-output production environment with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience with electrical and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor during emergencies and outages.
• Utilize Work Order system to log and complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintain safe work areas and comply with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
