Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers, switchgear, control equipment, and instrumentation up to 13.8 kV. You will support safety standards and contribute to efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities include testing and calibrating equipment, troubleshooting CEMS and DCS systems, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training.
• 3+ years of electrical/instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test low and medium voltage switchgear, breakers, starters and transformers.
• Maintain high voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Perform electrical maintenance on energy-from-waste boilers and related equipment (pumps, fans, motors, conveyors).
• Troubleshoot E&I systems including CEMS, DCS and historian devices.
• Complete maintenance records and participate in plant shutdowns as needed.
