Job summary

Reworld in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair the facility's electrical and control systems. You will work with a small team to service boilers and its associated electrical equipment, control systems, and plant instrumentation from 120V to 13.8kV, ensuring safe operation.

Applicants should be prepared to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, switches, and transformers, and to troubleshoot CEMS

Qualifications

• Maintain, diagnose and repair power plant electrical and control systems.
• Perform maintenance on low/medium voltage switchgear, breakers, motors, and power transformers.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate CEMS and plant instrumentation.
• Work safely as part of a small team and uphold safety values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test low/medium voltage switchgear, breakers, motors, and transformers.
• Maintain higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine driven generators.
• Perform electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste boilers and its associated equipment, including but not limited to; fans, motors, & refuse cranes.
• Perform electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste air pollution control systems.
• Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) as well as all facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation.
