Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree from ABET-accredited institution, IEA-recognized or ABET MRA may apply.
• Relevant Master may substitute one year of experience; PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, safety practices, and utility industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Interface with customers and departments to align objectives with requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and project teams; support cross-functional collaboration.
• May oversee engineering programs, manage requirements, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead small- to medium-scale projects and coordinate all phases, resolving schedule or quality issues.
• Contribute to long-range strategies for site problems and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with design specs, schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of technology and industry developments.
• Review and improve engineering work and documentation as needed.
