Job summary

MorphLabs in New York City offers a 5-month on-site Electrical Engineering Internship. You will own a hardware project from question to result, shipping a real board revision or measurable battery-life improvement.

You will work directly with the founders on the headset stack, from electrodes to firmware, in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. The role emphasizes ownership of end-to-end hardware, rapid prototyping, and hands-on validation.

Qualifications

• One or more boards you designed end-to-end, powered on and used.
• Smaller, cheaper or lower power design with measurable before/after numbers.
• Bring-up leadership: isolate failures and fix them on the bench.

Responsibilities

• Miniaturize boards through layout and component choices to reduce headset size.
• Improve battery life, power management, charging and verification with measurements.
• Diagnose and improve RF/wireless links on real hardware for range and latency.
• Write and debug embedded firmware close to hardware.
