Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks an Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to advance next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware.

You will collaborate with world-class engineers in our product development lab while driving innovative hardware designs using modern tooling and methodologies. You will participate in system-level architecture decisions, support NPI with senior hardware engineers, and partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define interfaces.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) processes with Senior Hardware Engineers.
• Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define system interfaces and requirements.
