Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking an Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to help shape next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware in Arlington, VA. You will collaborate with world-class engineers on system-level hardware architecture and participate in NPI processes.

You will work with FPGA/firmware teams, contribute to design reviews, and troubleshoot prototypes in our product development lab. A US citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience or equivalent.
• Experience in motherboard design and PCB layout including schematic capture and stackup.
• Current, active US Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) processes with Senior Hardware Engineers.
• Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define system interfaces and requirements.
