Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a senior hardware engineering leader to drive a team delivering high-performance server hardware from concept through manufacturing and maturation.

You will coordinate with silicon providers, ODMs, and internal customers to ensure a scalable roadmap. The role emphasizes execution, leadership, and close collaboration with program management in a fast-moving cloud hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 8+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering cloud hardware with CPU and memory focus.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a team to deliver best in class performance of novel hardware designs from inception through maturation.
• Ensure core system components (CPU and memory) meet high performance standards across EC2 servers.
• Partner with silicon suppliers, ODMs, and internal customers to maintain a high-performing component roadmap.
• Define implementation strategy and report status to senior leadership.
• Enable AWS to launch next generation server designs.
