Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Wilson, NC area. You will oversee Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

You will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals. Strong leadership, blueprint reading, and field layout skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership with the ability to grow as a leader. Capable of mentoring a team of five electricians.
• Reads and understands project blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop and communicate manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands; coordinate with supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by clear team communication and task prioritization.
• Ensure crew work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Field layout and installation of electrical conduits, devices, and panels.
• Provide on-site leadership and training to crew members.
• Read project documents and perform field layout using equipment as needed.
