Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. in Leesburg, VA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial projects.

You will install, alter, and repair electrical systems while training and evaluating the team to NEC and local codes. You will read blueprints, develop material lists, lay out work with Trimble equipment, and coordinate with other trades to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of about five electricians and helpers.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work meets highest quality standards and complies with NEC/local codes.
• Develop manpower schedules and material lists from layouts and job demands.
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical devices and conduits.
• Read project specifications and perform field layout using Trimble equipment.
