Job summary

You will read blueprints, manage material lists, coordinate with supervision, and keep projects on schedule and within budget while adhering to NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a team of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman.
• Strong blueprint reading and project documentation skills.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines and coordination with other trades.
• Capable of scheduling and prioritizing field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work is to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Support production and budget goals by clear communication.
• Ensure crew work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work areas from drawings and underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits as needed.
