Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Chantilly, VA, seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will lead, train, & evaluate performance while coordinating installation, alterations and repairs to meet project specs.

You must read blueprints, develop material lists, manage manpower schedules, and ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a team of ~5 workers.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specs, and NEC guidelines.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating manpower.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work meets high quality standards.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Maintain compliance with local codes and NEC.
• Read project drawings and lay out electrical work.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits as needed.
