Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Virginia is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, directing installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate the crew, read blueprints, develop material lists, and ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.

This role requires 7–10 years of hands-on experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong communication with trades and supervisors.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a crew on site including Journeymen, Helpers, and Apprentices.
• Ensure work quality meets NEC and local codes.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and project demands.
• Coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Oversee installation and termination of electrical devices and conduits.
