Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership with the ability to mentor and coach teams of five.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and contract documents.
• Able to read project specs and construction schedules.
• Strong communication with trades and supervisors.
• Willingness to participate in field training and overtime.
• Basic math and reading of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit and devices.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
