Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate performance while ensuring work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to NEC guidelines.

The role requires directing manpower, developing material lists, and coordinating with supervision to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, schematics and project documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals and relay needs to team.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read project specs and install according to plans.
• Lay out work from drawings, including underground layouts.
