Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, troubleshoot and supervise electrical systems while mentoring team members to safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent blueprint and spec interpretation, and the ability to coordinate with other trades to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of project scope and ability to identify work outside of scope.
• Shows aptitude for coordinating with multiple trades and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals by communicating requirements to the team.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform on-site electrical installation and termination.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings, including underground layouts.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
