Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeymen,Helpers and Apprentices, ensure top workmanship, and develop manpower schedules.

You’ll read blueprints, specify materials, and keep work within NEC and local guidelines. You will collaborate with supervision to meet production targets and budgets while training staff on BlueBeam, Navisworks and on-site procedures.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 electricians.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specs and project documents.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules and trade interfaces.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules and communicate lists to supervision.
• Estimate materials from layouts and job-site demands; notify supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals and coordinate with other trades.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels.
• Read project specs and blueprints; lay out work from drawings.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizes; troubleshoot circuits.
